Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) set forth the conditions for using the “NINJA GO RIDE” service (the “Service”) provided by Kiranah Resort Co., Ltd. (the “Company”). Users agree to these Terms when using the Service.

1. Description of the Service

The Service is a guided sightseeing tour using electric kick scooters, accompanied by a ninja-themed guide.
It includes tour guidance, cultural experiences, photo opportunities, rental equipment (electric kick scooter and helmet), and various benefits. Details vary depending on the plan specified by the Company.

2. Reservations and Application Requirements

Reservations must be made via the methods designated by the Company (official booking website or affiliated OTAs).
A reservation is confirmed when payment has been completed.
Reservations must be made no later than 0:00, two days before the date of the tour.
In principle, tours are limited to 1 to 6 participants; however, the Company may establish different limits during certain periods.

Participants must meet the following conditions:

・Be 16 years of age or older (participants aged 15 or younger are not permitted)
・Have sufficient balance to ride a bicycle
・Understand safety instructions provided in English
・Not be pregnant
・Have no chronic illnesses such as heart disease, high blood pressure, epilepsy, or vertigo
・Not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs
Participants are also required to present a valid passport for identity verification and sign a waiver and consent form including exemption clauses.

3. Fees and Payment

Fees are determined separately by the Company and shown on the official website.
The fees include guiding services, rental equipment, cultural experiences, photos and videos, and special tickets. (Cultural experiences may not be included in some plans.)
Transportation to and from the meeting point, food and beverages, and other personal expenses are not included.
Payment shall be made by the methods specified by the respective booking website or OTA.

4. Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellations made up to 24 hours before the scheduled tour time will incur no cancellation fee.
Cancellations made thereafter will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
If the Company cancels the tour due to severe weather, traffic regulations, or safety reasons, a full refund will be granted.
If, during the safety briefing on the day of the tour, a participant is deemed to be operating the scooter dangerously, participation may be refused, and a full refund will be granted.
No refund will be provided if the participant voluntarily withdraws during the tour.
Refunds will be made using the same method used for payment.

5. Participation Requirements and Obligations

Participants must wear:

・Comfortable clothing;
・Shoes that fix the heel (e.g., sneakers);
Sandals, high heels, platform shoes, or Crocs are prohibited.
Participants must wear the helmet provided by the Company and follow the instructions of the guide at all times.
Participants must obey traffic regulations and operate the scooter safely.
Luggage must be carried in a manner that keeps both hands free (e.g., backpack).
Participants are responsible for their own valuables; the Company is not liable in case of loss or theft.
The Company bears no responsibility for accidents arising from failure to meet the above requirements or accidents caused by the participant’s own negligence.

6. Prohibited Acts

・Dangerous driving or deviating from the route without permission
・Verbal or physical abuse
・Any act that may cause inconvenience to other users or third parties
・Any act contrary to public order and morals or applicable laws
・Failure to follow the guide's or the Company’s instructions

7. Insurance and Compensation

For accidents, injuries, and damage to persons or property that may occur during the tour, the Company has obtained liability insurance through Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Co., Ltd. The insurance provides unlimited coverage for personal injury and unlimited coverage for property damage. In addition, passengers are covered up to 30,000,000 JPY in a lump-sum benefit.
Coverage is limited to the scope of this insurance policy, and any case that falls under the exclusion clauses set out in the policy is not covered.
Users are encouraged to purchase their own voluntary travel insurance at their own discretion.

8. Disclaimer

The Company shall not be liable for any damages arising from:

・Natural disasters, traffic restrictions, or other force majeure events;
・Accidents, injuries, losses, or theft caused by users’ negligence;
・Accidents resulting from users’ health conditions or insufficient skills.
・However, this does not apply to cases covered by the insurance described in Article 7.

9. Handling of Personal Information

The Company collects and uses users’ personal information as necessary for reservations and operation.
The Company may use photos and videos taken during the tour on its official website, social media channels, and promotional materials. Users agree to such use by participating in the tour.

10. Changes and Suspension of the Service

The Company may change the route or schedule for safety or operational reasons.
In the event of suspension of the tour, the Company will promptly notify users.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Japan.
Any disputes arising in connection with the Service shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.

12. Exclusion of Anti-Social Forces

If a user is found to be associated with anti-social forces, the Company may immediately terminate the contract and refuse participation.
